Embrace the Scalarama spirit in one of the most upbeat bars in town, The Baltic Social, be the first one to watch our brand new 2018 Scalarama Liverpool season trailer and the screening of Michael Baig Clifford’s short documentary on the original inspiration for Scalarama, London’s legendary Scala Cinema. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Scala Cinema’s opening and the 25th anniversary of its closure. Our Liverpudlian opening will include a hand-picked short films exploring our star theme of this year, The Spirit Of 68  . Right after the screenings, if you mingle around you can have a “social drink” with the Scalarama team,  exchange views with the curators of this year’s programme or hopefully you might want to grow our lovely family and become involved in the electrifying world of Scalarama. Whatever happens, we guarantee you will not get bored!
