Tell us about your organisation
Square Chapel is a mixed arts venue so screen film alongside theatre, comedy, dance, funerals, weddings etc. We have just opened a £6 million extension with a sexy new cafe bar.
Tell us about your Scalarama event this year
We have a James Whale double bill of Frankenstein and The Invisible Man. We are also screening The Misadventures of Cameron Post, Some Like it Hot and the incredible Turkish Star Wars!
Tell us what Scalarama means to you
It’s a great chance to indulge myself! But seriously it’s an opportunity to screen something a little different and to let the imagination run wild.
Why should people come to your event?
We have a great bar with some proper crafty ales on and we do great pizzas, so come and grab some food and a drink and it will feel like a home from home.
What Scalarama event(s) besides your own are you looking forward to?
All of them!
Anything else you want to tell people about?
Just to use September as a chance to go and support your local independent cinema, bar, church or wherever you can get your film fix!
