A screening of: “Ahead of the Curve” on Thursday 23rd September.

This new feature documentary is about the extraordinary woman who started Curve magazine, and by doing so helped influence the political and social evolution of America.

Armed with a handful of credit cards and a dash of miraculous luck at the races in 1990, the extraordinary 23-year-old Franco Stevens was able to scrape enough money together to kickstart Curve magazine, which would go on to become the most successful lesbian magazine ever published.
