Scalarama is an annual DIY celebration of cinema, for everyone, by everyone, everywhere, every September.

Love films? Would you like to nurture a more vibrant, more diverse film culture in Glasgow? Whether you already organise film screenings (or want to), programme a cinema/festival/venue or have no idea at all where to start – come along to the The Grosvenor Cafe, Ashton Lane (snug) to get involved in Scalarama 2017.

In 2016, Glasgow exhibitors screened everything from Beyond The Valley of the Dolls to a VHS Trash Triple Bill – documentaries, shorts, concert films, arthouse, action and romance – in venues ranging from a Bearsden living room to the Planetarium at Glasgow Science Centre.
