Scalarama is a month-long celebration of cinema that takes place in cinema and non-cinema venues each September across the UK. Would you like to nurture a more vibrant, more diverse film culture in Edinburgh? Whether you already organise film screenings (or would like to!), programme a cinema/festival/venue, or have absolutely no idea where to start – come along to the Banshee Labyrinth to get more information on how to get involved in Scalarama 2017.

Have a look at Scalarama’s resource site for more pointers: https://sites.google.com/site/scalarama/
Scalarama’s key aims:
• Celebrating watching films together
• Reducing barriers to entry
• Linking practicing exhibitors
• Empowering people to put on films
• Reaching out to a wider audience
• Encouraging adventure in cinema
NB Even if you can only drop in for a bit on the night, or can’t make this particular meet up, let us know if you’re interested in taking part this year and we’ll try and support you as best we can!
