Squash’s seasonal events return with their Autumn edition, taking place at their new headquarters on 112-114 Windsor Street, L8 including films, workshops and of course lovely food!

Discover the story of Kenyan Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Wangari Maathai whose simple act of planting trees grew into a nationwide movement to safeguard the environment, protect human rights and defend democracy.
Shown with short film Hack the Root (director Monika Koeck) about the work Dr Mae-Ling Lokko has created with the Squash and L8 community – making building material from mushrooms – as part of this year’s Liverpool Biennial.
We are pleased to welcome good food actionist and BBC Cook of the Year winner Deirdre Dee Woods to talk about her work as part of Granville Community Kitchen and how to get active around growing and food.
