The Fire Brigade Union have a new film about their history and approached us to see if they could use our venue as obviously it’s a perfect location for them!
Tell us what Scalarama means to you
It’s a brilliant festival to be part of. I love the way the films are bing shown in different venues all over Leeds.
Why should people come to your event?
The film showing is a really interesting insight into the Fire Brigade and we also have an open day with heritage tours around the building. Our cafe is open and there is also a trailer with a pop up museum about the Fire Brigade and its history. There is also a chance to meet some of the ex firefighters who worked here and a plaque being unveiled to commemorate a fire fighter from the station who died in WW2.
