This romantic comedy set in Liverpool in 1962 focuses on the Chinese community of Merseyside and 19-year-old Peggy who lives above a family laundry business with her brother and his wife. Peggy, played by Pamela Oei attempts to find a husband whilst navigating the changing social environment of the early 60’s.
A community launderette and social space on Grasmere Street in the Everton/ Anfield area of Liverpool, reimagining the local amenity by offering affordable ecological services, as well as a space for people to gather, talk and learn.
An ongoing Liverpool-based cinema and film project. It began in 2016 and is a platform to screen films about Liverpool, made in Liverpool, and made by people from Liverpool.
